Hello Parents!
I hope this e-newsletter finds you in peace.
As you know, here at Nan Nan’s House we have been working vigorously to prepare creative lessons that integrate computer technology.
Now that your child has been introduced to the basic computer skills, definitions and etiquette, we are excited to bring them the academic and extra curriculum side!
Although we have approved several sites for your child to work from, today we will focus on one site that is geared towards your child's teacher. This will give you an inside look on some of the lessons, songs and craft ideas that your child will be learning and creating throughout this month... We believe that EVERY THING PRESCHOOL!!! is a great learning site to start off with and are excited to bring you the details!
EVERY THING PRESCHOOL!!! is full of Preschool ideas that range from creative science ideas, Farm animal and bug lesson plans, and alphabet lesson plans that include: Songs, art, books, games, science, coloring pages and lots more! One of my personal favorite craft activities is the home made EZ play dough. Being that this week’s color focus is BLUE, we decided to make BLUE PLAY DOUGH !!! (We will post pictures soon!) The children enjoyed mixing simple cooking ingredients to create their own ‘masterpiece’. Your child will bring home their BLUE Creations at the end of the week in an airtight container. Please keep it stored in its original container as well as a cool dry place so that they can continue to create at home! (This project also assists them in working on their motor skills)
A SPECIAL Thank you! To all parents for the positive reinforcement of your child’s education!

I love your blog. It has such wonderful ideas and information in it. I went to the playdough link and printed it to use with my third graders.I am sure they will love the smelly dough. Keep up the great blog. I really look forward to reading it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ms.Phyllis! I appreciate your kind words. I have actually used one of the play dough recipes with the two year old that I care for>>He really enjoyed mixing the dough with his hands!
ReplyDeleteMaybe this weekend I'll try the smelly dough with my own children...let me know how it turns out!
Since I want to work with the younger grades this blog is really going to come in handy. Thanks for looking up such interesting and fun things to show our students.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Margarita. These links are excellent tools to keep the students involved.
