Get an EARLY START on LEARNING :O)

I went to the site of Early Childhood Education. This is an awesome site! If you or if you know of anyone with a child of five and under, this link is an awesome tool to take advantage of.

I believe Early Childhood Education is the key to a successful start of learning. There a plethora of activities that you can use to intrigue your young one into learning.
Repetition, positive encouragement and creative learning are the top three keys to assist your child in obtaining knowledge.

These websites offer a number of information on learning activities such as: alphabet, numbers, and shapes, counting and matching. There are helpful printouts to work on pencil control as well as fun printouts for coloring and play dough recipes!

Not only are these an added tool for learning, they are a big pocket savor in this economy. You can print out as little or as much material as you desire. I would recommend lamination. This will give you more usage. :O)

In addition to all of the above mentioned, there is a score of helpful information on for childcare providers, parents and educators on subjects such as: assisting families with disabled children, living with ADHD, the importance of play, coping with tantrums, a break down of sign language and explanations of childcare vouchers.

The site is broken down into seven major links and then dispersed links from then on.

1. Early Learning Activities & Games

2. Early Years Festivals and Events

3. Early Learning Rhymes and Songs

4. Early Learning Resources

5. Early Years Information

6. Early Years Foundation Stage

7. Early Years Education Links

Please check them out and let me know what you think!

  1. It seems like you have found a treasure trove with a wealth of informative activities geared toward young learners. I loved your tip on lamination, it will save money. A lot of times, you can use dry erase markers on laminated sheets, and they wipe right off, creating re-useable activity sheets.

  3. The lamination saves you a lot of money and the children love to use dry erase markers. You found great sites for younger children and I can use some of this for my third graders. They need help on their penmanship and a lot of it has to do with lack of pencil control. Thanks for the sites and the link.
